Mindfulness

MINDFULNESS

Learn how to easily train your mind, gain peace and concentration that will improve not only your performance, but also your satisfaction in life.

We live in a fast-paced world, thoughts are constantly in our minds and we often can't stop them (for example, when we want to go to sleep and we still think so in our heads; or when it bothers and disturbs you to think about a work problem even when you are with your family).

Mindfulness is a set of lessons and exercises that will teach you how to calm your mind, reduce tension and the flow of spontaneous thinking and concentrate better.

You will find out why this area has been gaining massive popularity in recent years, what benefits it brings and why it is called "mind-fitness".
We will try a wide range of practical techniques and get instructions on how to practice on your own.

  • Choose a workshop or give us your own requirements for individual training
  • Take advantage of the experience and talent of our psychologists and coaches
  • Improve your soft skills

Course content

Introduction, course settings and expectations, input mapping

We will get acquainted, we will agree on setting the rules. We frame what mindfulness is about and each participant defines what they would like to take away from the course for themselves.

Context - the world around us, the air we breathe

We look around to realise what global trends we are in and how these trends affect our lives. Why the stress load increases and what impact do these influences have on the functioning of our mind.

How our mind works

We will learn to recognise 3 basic modes of mind and their functioning.
We will realise where we move most often and what impact it has on our lives and work.

The three pillars of mindfulness

In this block, we will go through three pillars of mindfulness together, which will bring a simple system into everything.

1. Mind and attention training
Benefits of this practice: better concentration, peace of mind and better sleep; silencing the flow of thoughts

2. Cultivation of presence
Benefits of this practice: improvement of quality of life and joy of life, better understanding of one's own needs and emotions (development of emotional intelligence)

3. Cultivation of quality of attention
Benefits of this practice: less critical orientation towards oneself and the world (more balanced perception), relaxation, better self-confidence, greater overall satisfaction

In each pillar, you will learn a number of practical techniques that will allow you to train your brain for better performance. All techniques are simple and do not require any significant time investment, ie. they are not burdensome.

Where are the roots of mindfulness (where did it come from) and what does science say about the benefits of this practice?

We will explore together where the concept of mindfulness came from in modern history and where its traditional roots lie. We will look at what science says about the benefits that this practice brings to our modern world and go through some of the most interesting experiments.

Practical applications

Let's see what it looks like when we apply the concept of mindfulness in two very practical areas:
In difficult communication situations - When someone criticises you
In time-management - How to improve productivity

Together, we will explore what it looks like to behave habitually (automatically) in each of these areas and how we can use mindfulness to act more consciously and increase our chances of success.

How to build sustainable practice

Each participant will create their original compass "Mindful ME" and make a commitment to what they will practice in their personal and professional life.

Looking back and feedback

We will summarise key information, see if we have succeeded in fulfilling the purpose of the course, and share feedback.
